This blog is for you, the members, to post articles, news, anecdotes, advice, suggestions, and more, that may be of interest to CTF members. You can upload pictures (less than 400 pixels wide please) and link to videos to showcase your forms, style, demonstrations, special events, workshops, seminars, etc.

You can also share insights into the art of taiji with other members and link to your website from your article.

This blog will be monitored by the board and other members. Any inappropriate or objectionable material will be removed.

While all members may post and reply to this blog, it is different from the discussion forum in that it is not meant for  question-and-answer types of discussions.
If you have a question or short statement, please use the discussion Forum.

    Jan Parker, recipient of Martial Artist of the Year 2004 from the Pacific Association of Women Martial Artists (PAWMA).

    "The Pacific Association of Women Martial Artists was founded in 1978, when a handful of women practicing different martial arts met in the Sierra Nevada foothills for a weekend of training, sharing skills, and offering mutual support in what was at that time considered an unusual pursuit for women." - from the PAWMA website [http://www.pawma.org/about]

    Their state mission is "Uniting and Empowering a diverse community of women and girls in the martial arts."

    In 2003, the annual general meeting of the Canadian Taijiquan Federation was held in October, and timed to coincide with a seminar by visiting instructor, Master Sam Masich.
